Cato, David & Diane - NATIVE AMERICANS
David and Diane were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Brazil in May 2002. Diane served as a single missionary for four years in Brazil before she and David were married in 1988. They worked together as missionaries for eight years. After four years of pastoring in the United States they felt God's call back to service in Brazil.
In 2017, because of a problem that occurred while they were in Brazil, they made the very difficult decision to leave Brazil. They feel the Lord has led them to work with the Native Americans in New Mexico.
David was saved at age nine and is a graduate of Massillon Baptist College. Diane was fourteen when she accepted Christ as personal Savior. She is also a graduate of Massillon Baptist College.
The Catos have three daughters, Sarah, Lori and Amber. Their sending church is Community Baptist Church of Pensacola, Florida.
