King, Jo Ann - US HISPANIC MINISTRY (Retired)

Lonnie was approved as a World Baptist Fellowship missionary in 1957 and Jo Ann was approved in 1962. They worked in the Canary Islands for 14 years before returning to the mainland of Spain. The Kings returned to the US in 2004.

After faithfully serving the Lord in Spain and the Hispanic Church in Arizona for approximately 56 years, the Kings retired in 2014. They later moved to Crane, Texas to be closer to their son, Tim King, and family.

Lonnie was saved in Monahans, Texas in 1953. Jo Ann was fifteen when she was saved at Gideon Baptist Church of Detroit, Michigan. Lonnie is a 1957 graduate of Bible Baptist Seminary and Jo Ann attended BBS in 1959-60. They were married in 1962.

Brother Lonnie went home to be with his Lord and Savior whom he served faithfully for many years on December 13, 2019. A Celebratio9n of Life was held at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Crane, Texas on Thursday December 19th, officiated by Marvin Robertson. Any donations can be designated "Missions" to Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lonnie King's name.
